cookiesforbreakfast is where I write stories about: 1) things I eat, recipes I attempt to cook in my kitchen, and more interestingly .. about things that other people (who already have accomplished the art of cooking) feed me. 2) fascinating wonders of nature I may encounter during my days in the garden. 3) abundant fresh and beautiful food that springs from the heart of the sierra foothills, and the colorful people who make that all happen. 4) my cat-friend Frank, if he’s doing something really cool and noteworthy. 5) eating cookies for breakfast – if I can’t think of anything better to tell you about.
don’t expect literary gems or any sort of writing talent – but, sometimes pretty good things happen when my thoughts get typed out by my fingers.
cheers.

Hey kathy! I like what I am reading – We too found the joy of gardening about 8 years ago once the kids were lower maintenance and I look forward to getting dirt under my nails….hope to see you in August!
